Project Manager – DoD Programs (Government Contracting)We are seeking a highly organized and mission-focused Project Manager to support Department of Defense (DoD) programs across defense, engineering, logistics, and operational support contracts. This role is ideal for a mid-level project manager with experience in government or regulated environments who is ready to support DoD customers and drive successful project delivery.The Project Manager will oversee day-to-day execution of assigned DoD projects, ensuring performance meets contractual requirements, customer expectations, and compliance standards.What You'll DoManage execution of DoD contract project from kickoff through closeoutDevelop and maintain project plans, schedules, milestones, and deliverables aligned with the Statement of Work (SOW) or Performance Work Statement (PWS)Serve as the primary point of contact for government customers, Contracting Officer Representatives (CORs), and internal leadershipCoordinate cross-functional teams, subcontractors, and vendors to meet technical and programmatic requirementsMonitor project cost, schedule, and performance; identify risks and implement mitigation strategiesSupport Earned Value Management (EVM) reporting when requiredPrepare and deliver required status reports, briefings, and documentation to DoD stakeholdersManage change requests and support contract modifications as neededEnsure compliance with FAR/DFARS, security requirements, quality standards, and company policiesRequired QualificationsBachelor's degree in Business, Project Management, Engineering, or related field3–5 years of project management experience, preferably supporting DoD or federal government contractsFamiliarity with DoD contract environments and federal acquisition regulations (FAR/DFARS)Experience managing project scope, schedules, and budgets in a regulated environmentAbility to work effectively with government customers and cross-functional teamsProficiency with project management tools (Microsoft Project, Jira, Smartsheet, or similar)Strong written and verbal communication skillsPreferred QualificationsPMP, CAPM, or Agile/Scrum certificationExperience supporting DoD organizations (Air Force, Army, Navy, Space Force, Defense Agencies)Active Secret clearance or ability to obtain oneExperience with Firm-Fixed-Price (FFP), Cost-Plus, or Time-and-Materials (T&M) contractsJoin the Cross Resource Group Team!At Cross Resource Group, we value our employees and are dedicated to providing a rewarding and inclusive work environment.
