Counter Sales Specialist

Locations Phoenix, Bell Phoenix, Indian School Anthem, Anthem Way Responsibilities Provide friendly customer service following Van Marcke standards. Assist customers with questions and locating merchandise. Assist in receiving, stocking, pricing, and maintaining store cleanliness. Perform all duties in a store POS checkout environment. Monitor unloading of all materials into the facility, ensure proper staging, counting, and inspection. Ensure materials are stored properly to conserve space and comply with safety procedures. Resolve discrepancies with accounting regarding invoices, packing slips, and receiving reports. Maintain appropriate merchandise stock levels, adjacencies, and presentations. Conduct regular store staff meetings, walk‑throughs, and audits to ensure compliance with policies and procedures. Maintain store cleanliness: trash removal, dusting, mopping, restroom, associate room, and stockroom cleaning. Perform additional duties as directed by store manager or upper management. Qualifications High School diploma, some college preferred. Previous experience in a retail environment in sales or merchandising. Product knowledge of hardware‑related and/or plumbing products and willingness to learn. Ability to work flexible hours including weekday and weekend shifts. Ability to travel to other store locations if needed. Ability to stand for extended periods and lift up to 50 pounds frequently.
