This is a 13-week contract position.

Schedule

Schedule: Three 12-hour shifts per week; two shifts from 6:00 AM - 6:30 PM and one shift from 8:00 AM - 8:30 PM.

Job Description

The Cath Lab Recovery RN is responsible for preparing and recovering all patients undergoing procedures in the Cath Lab and EP Lab. This role focuses on critical care, procedural management, and providing a safe environment for post-procedure recovery.

Responsibilities

• Monitor patient vitals and comfort in the recovery phase post-cardiac procedures.
• Perform sheath pulls and groin management for patients post-procedure.
• Competently manage radial access sites and facilitate cardioversions as necessary.
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary team members to provide optimum patient care.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

• Current RN license in North Carolina.
• ACLS certification required.
• Experience with cardiac diagnoses, particularly procedural patients in the Cath Lab and EP Lab.
• Preferred: ICU/Cardiac Stepdown experience; prior Cath/EP lab experience.
• Moderate sedation experience preferred.
