Job Title

Registered Nurse – Labor and Delivery (LDRP)

Schedule / Job Type

Contract | Night Shifts | Rotating Day/Night Schedule (switches every 3 weeks) | Onsite

Key Responsibilities

• Provide direct nursing care to Labor and Delivery, Postpartum, and Med/Surg Peds patients in an LDRP unit setting
• Titrate drips including Pitocin, cardiac drips, Heparin, and sedation medications as required
• Monitor and read telemetry strips independently, with support from ICU and charge nurses as needed
• Float to Med/Surg Peds unit during low OB census periods
• Operate and troubleshoot respiratory therapy equipment including vents, CPAP, BiPAP, High Flow, and Airvo
• Adhere to AWHONN staffing ratio guidelines (1:1 for induction, 1:2 for postpartum)

Required Qualifications

• Active RN licensure in good standing
• Current BLS, ACLS, and NRP certifications required
• Experience in Labor and Delivery required
• Experience in Med/Surg and/or Pediatrics required
• Ability to fulfill on-call requirements with a 1-hour response time
• Availability for every third weekend and every third holiday rotation

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Critical access hospital experience strongly preferred
• Familiarity with GE Electronic Fetal Monitoring (EFM) systems and Philips telemetry monitors
• Strong communication skills, self-motivation, and approachability in a team-oriented environment
