Registered Nurse - ICU

Job Description

Job Summary:
Seeking a highly skilled ICU Registered Nurse for per diem assignments, including work during strike onboarding on 9/3/26. The role requires minimal compliance efforts and a focus on delivering exceptional patient care in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities:

• Provide expert nursing care to critically ill patients in the ICU setting.
• Complete strike onboarding efficiently while adhering to all procedural requirements.
• Verify active nursing licenses and maintain current certifications, including BLS, ACLS, PALS, and NRP as applicable.
• Demonstrate proficiency in EPIC electronic health record system to ensure accurate documentation.
• Ensure all proof of vaccinations, including MMR and Varicella, are up to date or submit appropriate attestations.
• Maintain compliance with hospital policies and safety standards during each shift.

Qualifications:

• Hold a valid and active nursing license.
• Possess current BLS, ACLS, PALS, and NRP certifications as applicable.
• Demonstrate experience and proficiency with EPIC electronic medical records.
• Show ability to work effectively during strike onboarding with minimal supervision.
• Provide proof of MMR and Varicella vaccinations or valid declination/attestation.
• Display strong critical thinking and adaptability in high-pressure situations.
