Registered Nurse - Operating Room

We are seeking a skilled Registered Nurse to join our Operating Room team. The ideal candidate will have experience with orthopedic cases and a strong clinical background in various specialties.

Responsibilities

• Circulate all orthopedic cases including arthroscopies and total joint replacements.
• Provide care for patients across various age groups, from pediatrics to geriatrics.
• Document patient care using the Cerner documentation system.
• Utilize the Omnicell medication system effectively.
• Participate in holiday rotations and call requirements on weekdays and weekends.

Patient Demographics

The patient population will include:

• Pediatrics
• Adolescents
• Adults
• Geriatrics

Required Qualifications

• Minimum of 2-3 years of clinical experience in an Operating Room setting.
• Strong experience in orthopedic procedures is a must; minimal 3+4 on checklist.
• ACLS certification is preferred; BLS certification is required.
• Familiarity with Epic or Cerner systems is advantageous.

Work Schedule

This position involves a day shift, working 4x10-hour shifts from 07:00 to 17:30. There is no block scheduling for this role.
