Urology Oncology - Clinical Faculty

Rush University System for Health Rush University System for Health , a national leader in patient care, education, research, community partnerships and empowering a new generation of health care providers, invites applications for the position of Urology Oncologist in the Department of Urology. This role is located primarily at the RUSH MD Anderson Cancer Center at Rush University Medical Center (15%), with additional time at Rush Copley Medical Center (60%) and Rush MD Anderson Lisle (25%). Department/Division specifics Rush urologists prioritize quality of life, offering compassionate care for both physical and emotional challenges associated with urinary, reproductive and sexual conditions. Care ranges from general urologic conditions to advanced urologic cancer treatment, with multidisciplinary collaboration across the Rush system and external referral networks. Many Rush urologists are experts in minimally invasive surgical techniques, including advanced laparoscopic and robotic procedures, and participate in clinical trials exploring new treatments for urologic disorders. The department currently comprises 13 urologists and 5 advanced practice providers. Collaborations with Urologists, Oncology, Radiology, and research teams focus on personalized treatment for our patients. Duties & Responsibilities Inpatient clinical care at Rush University Medical Center downtown campus and outpatient clinic hours in Lisle and at Rush Copley Medical Center, Aurora, Illinois. Provide care for surgical urology patients with a primary emphasis on prostate cancer. Perform advanced minimally invasive and robotic procedures using state‑of‑the‑art technology (DaVinci XI and SP). Commit to the education of medical students, residents, and fellows. Qualifications Doctorate MD or DO degree. Current and unrestricted license to practice medicine and/or eligibility for licensure in Illinois. Board certified or eligible in Urology and fellowship trained in Urologic Oncology. Training and experience in laparoscopy and robotic surgery will receive priority consideration. Compensation & Benefits Pay Range: $441,000 – $584,000. Rush offers competitive total compensation that includes base pay, benefits, and incentive programs. The compensation package reflects factors such as education, certifications, experience, primary work location, and organizational priorities. Additional incentives such as sign‑on and retention bonuses and relocation allowances may be applicable.
