Job Title: Electrical Maintenance Technician III Compensation: $65.00/hr Location: Big Lake, TX – (1921 E US Hwy 67, Big Lake, TX 76932) Schedule: 5/2 Target Start Date: ASAP Submittal Deadline: 7/10/2026 Duration: One-year contract Safety Sensitive: Yes Scope / Overview The Electrical Maintenance Technician III supports safe and reliable field electrical maintenance activities across production facilities, ensuring maximum operational availability while minimizing production impacts. This role is responsible for executing preventive and corrective maintenance, supporting electrical isolations through Lock Out/Tag Out (LOTO) procedures, and maintaining electrical systems associated with lighting, HVAC equipment, motors, and production facilities. The successful candidate will demonstrate strong oilfield electrical maintenance experience, proficiency with power distribution systems, and the ability to support field operations in a fast‑paced environment. Key Responsibilities Perform field electrical maintenance and troubleshooting activities on production and facility equipment. Execute electrical isolation activities in accordance with LOTO procedures. Plan and perform preventive and corrective maintenance to maximize equipment reliability. Support maintenance of lighting, HVAC systems, motors, and related electrical infrastructure. Participate in daily operations and shift meetings. Work collaboratively with vendors and subcontractors. Ensure compliance with Management of Change (MOC) requirements for facility modifications. Identify opportunities for process improvement, simplification, and cost savings. Maintain high standards for Safety, Security, Health, and Environmental (SSHE) performance. Utilize Observation Safety Techniques (OST) to identify and report safe and unsafe conditions. Support waste management and environmental stewardship programs. Maintain accurate maintenance records and documentation using Microsoft Office applications. Required Qualifications Current Texas Journeyman or Master Electrician license is required. License number must be listed on the resume and included in the candidate submittal. Previous experience in electrical maintenance, preferably within the oil and gas industry. Experience with electrical systems supporting production facilities and field operations. Strong understanding of LOTO procedures and electrical safety practices. Ability to communicate field conditions and recommend corrective actions effectively. Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications. Ability to manage multiple priorities and adapt to changing operational demands. Preferred Qualifications Oilfield electrical maintenance experience. Experience with powerline systems and powerline construction/build projects. Experience supporting facility modifications under MOC processes. Familiarity with production operations and contractor coordination.
