Job Opportunity: BC/BE Gastroenterologist

Our organization is excited to announce an opening for a Board Certified/Board Eligible Gastroenterologist at our scenic coastal location in Myrtle Beach, SC. This role will be pivotal within the region's most extensive clinically integrated network.

Position Overview

• Facility Details:
  • McLeod Health Seacoast: 155 patient beds
  • McLeod Health Loris: 50 patient beds
  • McLeod Health Carolina Forest: 48 patient beds
• Established Practice: This is a turnkey opportunity.
• New Outpatient Surgery Center: Located on the expanding Carolina Forest campus.
• Team Composition: Join a growing team of 4 physicians and 2 Advanced Practice Providers, with a call rotation of 1:4.
• Work Schedule: Monday to Friday, with a half-day on Friday. Enjoy flexible scheduling to manage your time effectively.
• Specialization: We are looking for both General and Advanced Gastroenterologists, including expertise in EUS and ERCP.
• Employment Type: Hospital-employed position.

About Us

Our organization boasts a medical staff of over 200 physicians across more than 32 specialties. McLeod Loris, a nonprofit 50-bed hospital, specializes in various services including general surgery, women's health, emergency care, critical care, urology, and rehabilitation therapies. We are also proud to feature a new and expanding Dialysis Access Center.

The Carolina Forest campus is committed to maintaining the highest standards of care, providing access to top-tier physicians, expanding specialty services, and investing in advanced technology. This 43-acre campus will include a seven-building complex, with a $56 million, four-story state-of-the-art facility expected to offer 48 beds, ensuring immediate care for all patients. The anticipated completion date for this facility is 2026.
