About The Unit The Family Birth Center includes 15 LDR rooms, 1 natural birthing suite, a 7‑bed Triage, 3 ORs, 3 recovery beds, and 10 antepartum beds. We do over 4,000 deliveries per year. Scope of Work The Unit Secretary coordinates the non‑clinical aspects of patient care by managing communication and clerical tasks essential to the functioning of the unit. Performs unit clerical functions, acts as a receptionist, acts as an intra‑departmental and inter‑departmental liaison, orders and stocks office supplies, and coordinates repair of office & unit equipment.
