This team member is highly skilled in planning and organization, critical thinking, decision-making, and influencing others at Server Products to understand and meet the required engineering needs.ResponsibilitiesDesign new products and redesign existing products, meeting engineering standards, applicable codes, customer specifications, andwithin cost constraintsReview and interpret customerspecifications and requestsEnsure conformance to all required safety certifications (ie, UL, NSF, CE), and companystandards for qualityand manufacturabilityUtilizes future-forward thinking with the company's goals in mind when developing new productsManages their project(s) from start to finish while providing updates to leadershipCreate productmodels and designlayouts in the computerized systemReview drawings for critical dimensions, views, and specifications when requiredAssist in developing timelysolutions to product development, manufacturing floor, and technical support questionsEvaluate/select components for products based on the appropriate specifications and certificationsAssist in training team members to meet established standardsRequirementsBachelor's degree in mechanical or design engineering or equivalent experience3+ years of mechanical engineering experience, preferably with new product developmentAbility to travel up to 10% of the time to customers' sitesExperience in 3D CAD ModelingStrong knowledge of engineering and quality methodologies (DFMEA, Design Reviews, Tolerance Stack-Ups)Proven leadership skillsStrong problem-solving skillsProfessional attitude when approaching work assignmentsStrong ability to manage multiple priorities and complex tasksBenefitsFive (5) weeks PTOTen (10) Paid HolidaysThree (3) days Paid to VolunteerRobust 401(k) with up to 6.0% Company Contribution/MatchExceptional health care benefitsServer Products is proud to be an Equal Opportunity Employer.
