Legal Assistant

A growing law firm is seeking a highly organized Legal Assistant to support its Class Action and Consumer Fraud practice. This role will assist with case investigations, client communication, insurance matters, pre-litigation and litigation support, and general case administration. Responsibilities Communicate frequently with current and prospective clients Open and maintain legal case files Gather medical records, bills, insurance information, reports, and other documentation Request and follow up on records and insurance information Draft routine correspondence and complete forms/authorizations Prepare documents and materials for paralegals and demand packages Maintain organized electronic and physical case files Process invoices and manage incoming/outgoing mail Communicate with clients, medical providers, and insurance adjusters Assist paralegals with case-related and litigation support Qualifications Legal assistant, legal secretary, paralegal, or related administrative experience Strong organizational and time-management skills Detail-oriented and highly accurate Comfortable working in a fast-paced, high-volume environment Personal injury, litigation, insurance, or medical records experience preferred #J-18808-Ljbffr
