If you join us, you’ll take a journey that matters.We’re hiring an Industrial Engineering Intern!Our Clean Mobility Division is looking for an Industrial Engineering Intern for its manufacturing facility in Toledo, OH to assist the Production Controls and Logistics Manager with inventory management, freight control, internal auditing, and cost saving projects.Your mission, roles and responsibilitiesThis job will require you to work on a variety of Industrial Engineering related projects that include:Inventory ManagementPlant JNI (Just Needed Inventory) analysis to determine if current inventory parameters are correct or can be improvedPackaging OptimizationPack Density study & right sizing components to tote/containersInventory accuracySAP master data studyShopfloor accuracy analysisCost savings project(s)Freight Savings ProjectAnalyze fill rate of containers and packagingYour profile and competencies to succeedThe ideal candidateTo succeed in this position, you will ideally have:Enrolled in a supply chain, logistics, STEM, Mathematics, Physics or industrial engineering Bachelor’s or Master’s degree program or equivalentJunior, Senior or Masters status preferredFlexibility and understanding that process changes may be neededExcellent oral and written communication skillsStrong interpersonal and presentation skills.
