Opportunity:

RN - Med Surg Tele

Job Details:

• Work 3x12 hour night shifts from 7:00 PM to 7:00 AM

• Every other weekend and holidays as needed

• No specific call requirements - depends on facility needs

• No block scheduling

• Nurse to patient ratio 1:6

• 24 hours of orientation provided

• 6 weekend shifts required out of 6 week schedule

• One pre-approved time off allowed

• No local candidates within 50 miles accepted

• Required certifications: BLS, NIH/Stroke Certification must be in hand

• Preferred certifications: ACLS, CPI

• EPIC charting experience required

• 2 years of experience required

• Previous charge experience preferred

• Care for patients with End Stage Renal Disease (ESRD), autoimmune and connective tissue disorders, pneumonia, chest pain, CHF, GI bleed, and diabetes

• Facilitate admission, treatment, and transfer processes

• Manage post catheterization patients and peritoneal dialysis patients

• Handle dressing changes/wound vacs and release of TR bands post-catheterization

• Work with adults and geriatric patient populations

• Daily census of 42 patients on a 42-bed unit
