Phlebotomist - Float

Job Title and Location Float Phlebotomist – Flower Mound, TX Schedule Monday – Friday, hours vary between 6:00am and 6:00pm. Overtime and rotating weekends may be required. Job Responsibilities Perform blood collections by venipuncture and capillary techniques for all age groups. Collect specimens for drug screens, paternity tests, alcohol tests, etc. Enter patient data accurately and promptly. Process billing information and collect payments when required. Prepare all collected specimens for testing and analysis. Maintain patient and specimen information logs. Provide superior customer service to all patients. Perform administrative and clerical duties as necessary. Travel to additional sites when needed; reliable transportation required. Qualifications High school diploma or equivalent. At least 2 years of phlebotomy experience in a clinical or hospital environment. At least 1 year of experience assisting patients of all age groups (pediatric–geriatric). Current or prior LabCorp experience. Additional Job Standards Phlebotomy certification or training from an accredited agency required if not meeting experience criteria. Cover sites within approximately 40 miles of Flower Mound, TX. Ability to work in a fast‑paced, high‑volume environment. Pass a standardized color‑blindness test. Be 21years of age or older; possess a valid driver’s license and a clean driving record. Flexibility to work overtime as needed. Deliver exceptional customer service with strong written and verbal communication skills. Work independently or as part of a team; comfortable with minimal supervision. Float Incentive Additional $1.00 per hour plus mileage reimbursement. Phlebotomists may be eligible for a quarterly bonus program based on performance metrics. Benefits Employees scheduled 20 or more hours per week are eligible for comprehensive benefits, including medical, dental, vision, life, STD/LTD, 401(k), PTO/FTO, tuition reimbursement, and employee stock purchase plan. Employees scheduled less than 20 hours, as well as casual, intern, and temporary staff, are eligible only for the 401(k) plan.
