Urology Physician

Coverage Type: 24-hour Urology call
EMR: Epic
Rates : $3400/day (4 hours gratis)

Coverage Dates:

• November , 2026: 7:00 AM 7:00 AM
  
• December , 2026: 7:00 AM 7:00 AM

• Provide Urology call coverage for a Level II Trauma Center and hospital.
  
• Receive handoff from the existing Urology team as appropriate.
  
• Provide consultation and coverage for Urology patients presenting through the Emergency Department.
  
• General Urology procedures and clinical experience required.
  
• Hospitalists are responsible for patient admissions.
  
• Surgery nurses and technicians are available for support while on call.
  
• Call volume can vary, with some days having no Urology consults and other days having approximately 4 5 consults.
  
• Average callback time is approximately 1 2 hours.

Requirements:

• MD or DO
• Board Certified or Board Eligible in Urology
  
• Active Nebraska medical license preferred
  
• Active DEA
  
• Case logs from the past 2 years
  
• Clean malpractice history preferred
  
• Must be available for the requested coverage dates
  
• Willingness to work with Epic EMR

Additional Information:

• Weekend/holiday call coverage is required for the specified dates.
• This is primarily 24-hour call coverage with Emergency Department and surgical support.
• The position requires a provider comfortable managing general Urology cases in an acute-care hospital setting.
