Coordinate and facilitate public programs such as workshops, lectures, gallery talks, and special events in support of exhibitions and collections. Create educational materials and interpretive resources, including lesson plans, activity sheets, and program content that enhance visitor engagement. Train, schedule, and support docents, student educators, and volunteers involved in tours and public programming. Work collaboratively across museum departments to align educational programming and lesson plans with exhibitions, collections, and institutional priorities. Track and report participation in educational programs and outreach efforts; conduct periodic analysis of audience engagement and demographics to inform planning and improve impact. Assist with marketing and communications efforts related to education and engagement initiatives, including contributing content for newsletters, social media, and promotional materials. Maintain program calendars, schedules, and related documentation to ensure effective coordination and communication. Assist with planning and execution of events and use of museum spaces, coordinating with internal staff and external partners. Support grant-related activities for education and outreach initiatives, including data collection and reporting as needed. Order and maintain supplies for educational programming and outreach activities. Ensure all education and engagement processes are well-documented and consistently followed. Represent the museum at campus and community events, serving as an ambassador for programs and initiatives.
