Sr. Engineer, RDA DRAM

Responsibilities Use defect detection equipment applications and data analysis skills to identify and solve process issues. Collaborate with engineers in process integration, process development, data science, and yield analysis within and outside Technology Development. Support experimentation, data analysis, baseline health metrics, and systematic and random defect improvement through partnering with others in Research and Development and High Volume Manufacturing. Review and analyze experimental process flows by looking for defect anomalies and quarantining process tools that are out of control. Work with new inspection tools and strategies to drive toward earlier detection of problems and identify the sources. Build and improve upon techniques and identify new ways to use existing tools in order to identify relevant process issues. Participate in technical meetings and synthesize new opportunities or novel approaches. Collaborate with the global network to develop best‑known methods and maintain alignment between sites. Qualifications Master’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Chemical Engineering, Materials Science, or a related field. Experience with semiconductor fabrication processes and techniques. Knowledge of semiconductor inspection tools and techniques, including SEM, laser inspection, optical systems, and E‑beam. Ability to identify process anomalies and apply SPC process control. Data science and data manipulation skills, including scripting, coding, or programming. Understanding of semiconductor device physics.
