We're looking for a friendly, organized, and guest-focused Restaurant Host to be the welcoming face of our dining experience. In this role, you'll greet guests, manage seating flow, and help set the tone for outstanding service from the moment guests arrive. This position may require flexible scheduling availability.

Job Requirements:

• Greet guests warmly and provide a welcoming first impression
• Manage reservations, wait lists, and seating assignments efficiently
• Coordinate with servers and managers to ensure smooth dining operations
• Answer phones courteously and assist guests with questions or dining requests
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of the host stand and entry areas
• Monitor dining room flow to optimize guest experience and service timing
• Assist with light administrative or service support tasks as needed

Job Qualifications:

• Previous host, customer service, or hospitality experience preferred
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Friendly, professional, and approachable demeanor
• Ability to multitask and remain calm in a fast-paced environment
• Strong commitment to guest service and teamwork

The number of hours you will be scheduled to work during the week is variable and is based on guest occupancy, season, staffing and other factors. Island Hospitality is unable to guarantee a specific number of work hours per week.
