Whether you will spend your day brainstorming in an office cubicle, operating a crane, running manufacturing equipment or troubleshooting technical obstacles, at CMC, you'll get the training and support from your team that you need to excel in your role and reach your full potential.What You'll Do Oversee daily yard operations, including staging, loading, and unloading materials Maintain an organized yard layout to support efficient traffic flow and storage Operate equipment (forklifts, loaders, cranes, etc.) and ensure safe, proper use by the team Coordinate with dispatch and production to support timely delivery of products Track inventory and report any discrepancies or material shortages Inspect incoming and outgoing products for quality and accuracy Monitor yard equipment (e.g., forklifts, cranes) to ensure proper maintenance and safe operation Ensure compliance with safety standards, including proper PPE and equipment use Maintain accurate documentation of yard activities, shipments, and inventory movementsWhat You'll Need 3+ years of experience in yard, warehouse, or material handling roles; supervisory experience preferred Knowledge of material handling equipment and safe yard operations Strong communication skills with the ability to coordinate across teams Organized, detail-oriented, and able to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment Basic computer skills for tracking materials and maintaining accurate records Ability to work outdoors in varying weather conditions High School Diploma or GED requiredWe are CMC, a Fortune 500® company at the leading edge of our industry.
