Coordinates the patient care with surgical team in collaboration with other departments. Maintains patient rights and confidentiality of patient information. Join Mercy's Cardiovascular Operating Room (CVOR) team at a Level I STEMI and Trauma Center.

Mercy's CVOR provides advanced surgical care for adult patients across six operating rooms, including a hybrid OR and a peripheral vascular lab. Nurses on this team support both Cardiothoracic Surgery and Vascular Surgery , working alongside highly specialized surgeons performing:

• Open heart and vascular procedures
• Minimally invasive surgeries
• Robotic cardiothoracic procedures
• Vascular interventions and complex vascular surgeries

Qualifications

Required:

• Strongly prefer one year of RN experience
• Nursing degree from an accredited school
• Current Missouri RN license
• BLS certification

• OR nurse with experience in a surgical setting
• Interest in cardiovascular and vascular specialties
• Comfortable in a fast-paced, high-acuity environment
• Team-oriented with strong critical thinking and communication skills
• Interested in expanding skills in both circulating and scrub roles
