RN - CCU

Registered Nurse - Critical Care

We are seeking an experienced Registered Nurse to join our critical care team. This position requires the ability to provide high-quality care to patients in various intensive care environments, including but not limited to neuro/trauma SICU, MICU, CPS/VICU, CCU, and progressive critical care unit (PCCU). The ideal candidate will have a strong background in level I trauma center care and experience in floating to multiple ICU units.

Responsibilities

• Provide comprehensive care for patients in critical conditions across different ICU settings.
• Monitor patient vital signs and perform assessments to ensure stability.
• Administer medications and therapies as prescribed by physicians.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to develop and implement patient care plans.
• Provide education and support to patients and their families.
• Assist and manage patients in the ED and PACU awaiting bed placements.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

• Valid Registered Nurse (RN) license.
• Epic experience is required.
• Minimum of 2 years of nursing experience in a critical care environment.
• Experience floating to various ICU units is highly desired.
• MUST have previous travel experience.

Schedule

This position is a 13-week contract with a shift from 7 AM to 7:30 PM, requiring a commitment of 36 to 48 hours per week, depending on availability and interest.
