Job Description Job Summary: The Medical Laboratory Technician (MLT) / Medical Technologist (MT) provides clinical laboratory testing services to support patient diagnosis and care. The role involves performing a variety of diagnostic tests accurately and efficiently in a fast-paced laboratory setting. Responsibilities: Perform a wide range of laboratory tests using standardized techniques and instrumentation. Analyze and interpret laboratory results to assist healthcare providers. Maintain accurate documentation of test procedures and results. Ensure quality control and quality assurance protocols are followed consistently. Calibrate and troubleshoot laboratory equipment to ensure optimal performance. Comply with all safety regulations and properly handle biological specimens and hazardous materials. Qualifications: Hold a valid Medical Laboratory Technician (MLT) or Medical Technologist (MT) certification. Possess BLS Certification for healthcare providers. Be certified by recognized agencies such as ASCP, AMT, or equivalent. Demonstrate experience performing laboratory tests and equipment maintenance.
