Maintenance Mechanic

Maintenance Mechanic
• Operation and maintenance of all of the facility's maintenance needs
• Responsible for the installation, maintenance, troubleshooting and repair of ALL of the facility's needs
• Responsible for maintenance in the shop, organizing, inventorying, researching products, getting quotes on parts/ tools, ordering and restocking the shop
• Assist the machine operators as assistance with machine issues as they arise
• Keep shop machines properly maintained (cleaned, lubricated, and organized)
• Read electrical and pneumatic diagrams
• Program, install, repair, troubleshoot, and maintain all facility PLC's, frequency drives, servo motors/drives, machine computers, and all software
Requirements
• Basic reading, writing and some advanced arithmetic
• 10+ years in a manufacturing setting working as an industrial electrician
• Advanced skills required in electrical 110V-480V, PLC programming
• Advanced skills preferred in one or more of the following areas: mechanical, hydraulic & pneumatic systems, lathe, milling machine, drill press, computers, word processing, Microsoft Access, AutoCAD, and vertical/ horizontal cut off saw
• Ability to read, interpret and create schematics, electrical drawings, wire diagrams, ladder logic
• Manual dexterity required for operating machinery and computers
• Ability to lift up to 60 pounds.
• Vision must be correctable to normal range and hearing acuity must be adequate to receive instruction and converse on a standard phone
