Body Shop Apprentice
Join the Rowe Ford Sales team as a Body Shop Apprentice in Westbrook, ME. This role offers hands-on experience in automotive body repair and refinishing, providing a strong foundation for a career in the automotive collision repair industry. You will work alongside experienced technicians to learn the skills necessary to restore vehicles to their pre-accident condition, ensuring quality workmanship and customer satisfaction.
Responsibilities
- Assist technicians in performing body repairs, including sanding, painting, and panel replacement.
- Learn to use various tools and equipment safely and effectively.
- Prepare work areas and materials to ensure efficient workflow.
- Follow safety protocols and maintain a clean and organized workspace.
- Assist in inspecting repaired vehicles for quality and completeness.
- Receive and apply on-the-job training to develop technical skills.
Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Strong interest in automotive repair and body work.
- Ability to follow instructions and work well in a team environment.
- Good communication skills and a positive attitude.
- Willingness to learn and grow within the company.
- Ability to stand, bend, and lift for extended periods.
