Description - Your Role and Responsibilities

• Conduct both routine and specialized clinical laboratory tests, including chemistry, hematology, and immunology, following established standards.
• Interpret test results for precision, troubleshoot discrepancies, and perform essential preventative maintenance and calibration on laboratory equipment.
• Assist with collecting specimens and preparing samples for analysis as necessary.
• Maintain thorough documentation of all procedures, train new team members, and help ensure laboratory quality is at its peak.
• Uphold a clean, safe working environment while adhering to all regulatory and accreditation standards.

Education Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Clinical or Medical Laboratory Science, or an equivalent allied health degree, coupled with ASCP/AMT certification preparation.

Certifications

• ASCP or AMT Board of Certification in Clinical Laboratory Science (CLS) within one year of starting the position.
• Maintain ongoing certification through your tenure.
