Endoscopy Technician

Hourly Pay Range: $20.69 - $30.00 - The hourly pay rate offered is determined by a candidate's expertise and years of experience, among other factors. Position Highlights: Sign-On Bonus: $7500 with 1 yr Endo/GI experience (parameters apply) Position: GI Tech Location: Highland Park, IL (with the ability to float to Evanston, Glenbrook and Skokie Hospitals) Full Time Hours: 8 am to 5:30pm M-F with occational Saturday rotation and call requirements (including nights, weekends and holidays) What you will do: Assist under the direction of the RN, in the implementation of the established plan of care. Assist the physician and the RN during diagnostic and therapeutic procedures. Respond to emergency situations. Responsible for procedure set-up, supply and equipment maintenance, processing and reprocessing of endoscopes and other duties as assigned. Responsible for meeting on-call criteria as defined by the department. The employee is expected to float to other GI Lab locations.
