Job Summary

Cuready Healthcare Staffing is seeking a qualified RN - Operating Room to support patient care and clinical operations within healthcare facilities. The ideal candidate will deliver safe, high-quality care while collaborating with interdisciplinary care teams and maintaining compliance with facility policies and professional standards.

Responsibilities

• Deliver proficient and independent patient care, applying the nursing process from assessment to evaluation.
• Coordinate with staff, physicians, and management to address nursing issues and ensure patient needs are met.
• Maintain clinical competency by ongoing learning and skills development within the department.
• Adhere to the five rights of medication administration and promote patient safety.
• Utilize effective communication skills to engage with a diverse range of individuals.
• Advocate for patients, integrating family involvement and respecting confidentiality.

Qualifications

• Bachelor of Science Degree in Nursing preferred.
• 1 year of experience in the operating room or related specialty preferred.
• Active RN License in the state of New Mexico required.
• BLS, ACLS, and PALS certifications required (AHA only).
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Basic computer knowledge; ability to speak additional languages preferred.
