* Provide comprehensive medical care for companion animals * Perform physical examinations and diagnostic evaluations * Develop and implement treatment plans * Perform routine and advanced soft tissue surgical procedures * Conduct dental examinations and dental procedures * Educate pet owners on preventive care and treatment options * Maintain accurate medical records * Collaborate with veterinarians and support staff to ensure exceptional patient care * Build long-term relationships with clients and their pets * Uphold the highest standards of veterinary medicine and patient advocacy * Perform soft tissue surgery and dentistry

Requirements & Qualifications Required Qualifications

* Doctor of Veterinary Medicine (DVM) or Veterinary Medical Doctor (VMD) degree from an accredited veterinary school * Active veterinary license in Michigan, or ability to obtain licensure prior to start date * Minimum of 2+ years of small animal clinical experience preferred * Proficiency in companion animal medicine and surgery * Strong communication and client education skills * Ability to work collaboratively within a team environment * Commitment to high-quality patient care and client service

Preferred Qualifications

* Experience performing routine soft tissue surgeries independently * Interest in dentistry and preventive medicine * Confidence managing medical and surgical cases from diagnosis through treatment * Experience mentoring veterinary support staff or newer veterinarians * Interest in developing specialty services or advanced clinical skills
