Shift: 7:00 PM 7:00 AM (Nights)

Shift Length: 12 hours

Hours/Week: 36-40 hours

Licenses/Certifications: TX RN License or compact, BLS, AWHONN Intermediate FHM or NCC Electronic Fetal Monitoring (C-EFM), NRP, ACLS

Experience: Minimum 2 years in Labor and Delivery or related neonatal/perinatal settings

What You'll Do

• Provide independent, routine, and complex obstetric nursing care for patients over 20 weeks gestation
• Manage labor, delivery, postpartum surgical patients, and obstetric triage evaluations
• Administer medications and treatments following protocols; monitor for side effects and effectiveness
• Document patient histories, symptoms, medications, and care provided accurately
• Educate patients and families on labor, postpartum care, and recovery
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to ensure optimal patient outcomes
• Support unit operations and assist with contingency management as needed

What You Need

• Active TX RN license or current compact license
• Minimum 2 years of L&D experience in a clinical setting
• BLS, NRP, ACLS certification valid in AHA
• Certification in Fetal Monitoring (AWHONN or NCC)

• Perinatal RN residency or recent experience in perinatal nursing
• Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN)
