Cathodic Protection Technician - NACE / AMPP Certified (CP1 / CP2)

Job Description

L.A. Perks is a trusted leader in petroleum equipment maintenance, testing, and compliance across Nevada. We are seeking a dedicated Cathodic Protection Technician to perform testing, troubleshooting, and maintenance on underground storage tank (UST) fuel systems and piping.

Certification Level:

NACE / AMPP CP1
NACE / AMPP CP2

Key Responsibilities:

Perform annual cathodic protection surveys, structure-to-soil potential measurements, and continuity testing on petroleum UST systems.
Inspect, troubleshoot, and maintain rectifiers, sacrificial anode systems, and impressed current (ICCP) systems.
Prepare detailed field test reports and regulatory compliance documentation for client sites.
Collaborate with local field service teams to ensure environmental and safety standards are met.

Qualifications:

Certification: Active NACE / AMPP CP1 (Cathodic Protection Tester) or CP2 (Cathodic Protection Technician) required.
Experience: Minimum 2 years of hands-on experience in Cathodic Protection field testing (Petroleum/UST experience preferred).
Driver's License: Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record.
Strong mechanical aptitude and comfort working in field conditions.
