Job Description
Carilion Clinic is looking for a Gastroenterologist to join their team in Christiansburg, VA.

Qualified Candidates:
• Board eligible or board certified in gastroenterology
• Fellows and/or practicing Gastroenterologist
• EUS/ERCP skills welcomed

• Office based endoscopy unit

• Carilion New River Valley Medical Center (CNRV) is an award-winning 110-bed acute care facility offering modern medical ORs, state of the art technology (advanced imaging and robotic surgery) and multiple surgical and medical specialties.
• Carilion Roanoke Memorial Hospital, located in Roanoke, VA is Carilion Clinic's flagship facility. U.S. News & World Report ranks it as Virginia's top four hospital; and ranked top performing in five adult specialties and six adult procedures and conditions. The 703-bed hospital includes a Neonatal Intensive Care Unit, Carilion Children's Hospital, specialty and advanced clinical care and the region's only Level 1 Trauma Center.

Christiansburg is located in Montgomery County and is 30 miles southwest of Roanoke, VA. and close to Blacksburg, VA which is best known as the home of the 25,000-student, 2600-acre campus of the Virginia Polytechnic Institute (better known as Virginia Tech). Blacksburg, population 40,000, is the largest of the small triangle of towns including Christiansburg, Radford, Merrimac and Fairlawn. The area and Blacksburg in particular combines small-town feel and college-town amenities with a mountain setting, outdoor recreation, and proximity to Roanoke and its excellent arts, commerce, and health care amenities.
