Job Summary:

At University Health & Rehabilitation Center, we are seeking a highly skilled and compassionate Floor Technician to join our team of dedicated healthcare professionals. As a key member of our housekeeping team, you will play a critical role in maintaining the cleanliness and sanitation of our facility, ensuring a safe and comfortable environment for our residents and staff.

Responsibilities:

• Clean and sanitize patient rooms, bathrooms, and other areas of the facility, adhering to infection control protocols

• Knowledge in buffing and glossing floors

• Restock supplies and linens as needed

• Utilize specialized equipment and cleaning solutions to effectively clean high-touch areas and surfaces

• Maintain the cleanliness and organization of common areas, including but not limited to patient rooms, hallways, and public spaces

• Assist with laundry duties as needed

• Participate in the development and implementation of quality improvement initiatives to ensure high standards of cleanliness and sanitation

Requirements:

• 0 years of experience (training provided)

• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and prioritize tasks effectively

• Strong attention to detail and commitment to maintaining a clean and safe environment

• Ability to lift, push, and pull heavy equipment and supplies (up to 50 pounds)

• Basic knowledge of infection control protocols and cleaning procedures
