Job Category:Executive Leadership, Facility Support & Building ManagementWork Shift/Schedule:8 Hr Morning - AfternoonNortheast Georgia Health System is rooted in a foundation of improving the health of our communities.About the Role:Job SummaryThe Director of Facilities Maintenance, in conjunction with the Executive Director of Facilities Engineering, is responsible for the integration and operations of all performance improvement functions and activities within NGMC Gainesville. The Director will plan, organize, supervise, coordinate and control the activities of the plant operations and maintenance functions which are necessary in maintaining the physical structures, HVAC, mechanical, electrical systems, utilities and grounds of this hospital in an operative and safe working condition. The Director shall be accountable to the Executive Director of Facilities Engineering for planning and maintaining an effective organization, administering labor and material controls and for training of maintenance personnel in safety for effective management practices. Responsible for all fiscal monitoring and reporting activities of the department.Minimum Job QualificationsLicensure or other certifications: GA state mechanical license without restrictions, state boiler operator license and EPD license for UST preferred.Educational Requirements: Bachelor’s Degree in related field. In lieu of a bachelor’s degree, Four (4) additional years of job-related experience is acceptable.Minimum Experience: Minimum of seven (7) years experience in leading facility operations.
