Second shift schedule 3pm to 11pm (at least rotating weekend shifts required). About Guardian Recovery – Montville Adolescent Center We provide specialized mental health treatment and therapy for teens in Morris County, New Jersey, supporting adolescents and children under 18 who struggle with behavioral challenges, mental health disorders, and substance use disorders. Position Description The purpose of the BHT is to assist in providing a safe environment for individuals while they are in the program. Assists in the admission process, answers client questions and assists client in adjusting to the program routine. Acts the liaison between the client and the staff to report any changes in the clients physical or mental condition. Responsible for supervising clients with emphasis on client safety and wellbeing. Qualifications Qualification Requirements Candidates ideally have professional experience or informal personal experience in supporting individuals in mental health wellness and/or substance use recovery, but this is not required. The ability to pass a background check and drug test is required. Completed GED or Highschool Diploma is required. Additional education or certifications related mental health is preferred.
