Job Summary:
Registered Nurse (RN) specializing in Labor and Delivery (L&D) located in Silverdale, Washington. This position involves providing specialized nursing care in a birthing center, supporting low-risk and high-risk pregnancies, attending deliveries independently, and circulating during cesarean sections. Candidates are required to bring their license on the first day.

Job Details:

• Location: Silverdale, Washington
• Schedule: Nights, 12-hour shifts, minimum of 36 hours per week, every other weekend
• Required Qualifications:
  • Licenses and Certifications: ACLS (Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support), BLS (Basic Life Support), NRP (Neonatal Resuscitation Program)
  • Experience: At least 2 years of labor and delivery nursing experience; consideration for candidates with 1 year of experience if they have multiple prior travel assignments
  • Education/Degree: Valid RN license to submit and willing to wait for approval
• Preferred Qualifications:
  • Must have labor, delivery, and postpartum (LDRP) experience
  • Comfortable attending deliveries independently and circulating during cesarean sections
  • Experience assisting with catching and transitioning babies
  • Ability to titrate common set rate drips such as Magnesium, Pitocin, and Insulin
• Additional Information:
  • Will rotate in with permanent staff during shifts
  • EMR: EPIC system
