Dining Associate

Shift Weekend hours: 6:30 am – 3:00 pm. Responsibilities Prepare beverages for residents. Assist with delivery of food items to residents when needed. Clean and sanitize all areas in the dining room and “back of house” areas such as stock rooms, employee bathroom, and chemical storage areas. Occasionally operate as a dishwasher. Correctly and safely operate kitchen equipment and utensils for food preparation, service, and cleaning (e.g., dishwasher, disposal, refrigerator, freezers, carts, serving utensils, blender, coffee makers, toasters, etc.). Serve meals for breakfast, lunch, or dinner based on the menu selected items. Abide by facility policies and procedures as well as laws and regulations related to food safety and sanitation. Serve meals to residents according to the diet list for each resident; ensure that meals are complete and processed per individual requirements and requests per diet orders (e.g., puree diets). Qualifications High school diploma or equivalent. Food service experience preferred. Physical requirements: The position is very active and requires standing, walking, bending, kneeling, stooping, and crouching all day.
