Head Baker

Seekers Coffee is looking for a quality-focused baker to join our production team. Our bakery focuses on naturally leavened sourdough bread and a small selection of pastries made with care and consistency.

This is a hands-on role for someone who works efficiently, stays organized, and takes pride in producing excellent baked goods. Professional bakery experience is preferred, but we are open to candidates with strong kitchen experience and a serious interest in bread and pastry.

Responsibilities

• Mix, divide, shape, proof, score, and bake sourdough bread
• Prepare and bake pastries according to established recipes
• Follow daily production schedules and maintain consistent quality
• Accurately weigh ingredients and monitor fermentation
• Keep work areas and bakery equipment clean and organized
• Follow all food-safety and sanitation standards
• Work closely with the team to complete production on time

Qualifications

• Previous bakery, pastry, or professional kitchen experience preferred
• Experience with sourdough or pastry production is a strong plus
• Reliable, punctual, organized, and attentive to detail
• Able to follow recipes and production systems accurately
• Comfortable working independently and as part of a team
• Available for early-morning and weekend shifts
• Able to stand for extended periods and lift up to [40–50] pounds

• Schedule: 4am to 12pm
