Details Specialty: Physical Therapist Discipline: Therapy Location: Lakeport, California Start Date: 07/27/2026 Duration: 13 weeks Hours: 40 hours per week Shift: 8 hours, days Employment Type: Travel Responsibilities Evaluate, develop, and execute a plan of care for a variety of patient populations in an acute care setting. Supervise PTAs and support staff (therapy technicians). Bill within the respective setting following guidelines for the facility. Understand and comply with the PT board's rules and regulations for the state. Interface with medical center personnel and physicians to ensure team‑focused plan of care. Understand adaptive equipment and incorporate into patient care. Assess patients and create a plan of care, modifying it as indicated based on patient condition. Use medical center computer systems for daily tasks. Provide timely and accurate documentation following state and/or insurance guidelines. Qualifications Minimum 6 months of experience; 1 year preferred; new graduates encouraged. BLS certification. State‑specific Physical Therapist licensure. Must be able to stand, walk for long periods, bend, lean, and stoop without difficulty. Strong knowledge of anatomy, physiology, pathology, and medical terminology.
