Staff Accountant II

What You'll Do: Prepare monthly reconciliations and journal entries for assigned general ledger accounts, as well as, ad hoc reports/schedules Perform monthly close activities timely, including variance analyses for assigned accounts Lead projects, perform research and assist with reviewing reconciliations and journal entries prepared by staff accountants Assist management with maintaining and implementing accounting policies and procedures Support internal and external audit requests and deliverables Implement process efficiencies wherever possible Continuously develop skills to effectively leverage AI tools to improve business outcomes. What You Bring: Passion to problem-solve and to exercise strong critical thinking skills Impeccable interpersonal skills, with ability to work independently Ability to multi-task in a fast-paced environment with professionalism and enthusiasm Desire for continuous improvement Solid understanding of US GAAP and internal controls Team-first mentality and flexibility regarding job responsibilities to meet deliverables as a team Organizational skills and attention to detail with the ability to stay focused on big picture Education and Qualification: Bachelor's Degree in Accounting or Finance required MBA and/or CPA preferred Minimum 4 years of related experience required Strong knowledge and proficiency with Excel (Pivot Tables, VLOOKUPs, SUMIFS, etc.) is required. Advanced Excel or automation experience is a strong plus. Experience with SAP preferred Experience with inter-company accounting, consolidations, foreign currency reporting, and other areas of technical accounting Experience working with a large or publicly traded company a strong plus Below is the US base salary for this position. Additional compensation such as Bonus, Commission, Equity and other benefits may also apply.
