Certifications Required: ARRT (MR), or ARMIT Certification, or Rad Tech ARRT/CRT licensure with clinical competency in MRI
Will they have to float/cover any other areas? No
Shifts & Scheduling (Do you allow self-scheduling? Block scheduling?): Thursday, Friday, Every-other-weekend. 12 Hour Shifts.
Weekend Requirements: Every other weekend on-shift
Holiday Requirements: As scheduled on normal rotation, unless specifically asked to be off.
Call or Standby requirement? Response time? Call rotation participation preferred. 45 min response time.
Common types of imaging/studies performed & Job Duties? Typical bread and butter MRI scans. Both inpatient and outpatients. Pacemakers with nursing and/or rep support.
Average # of studies per day? 12-18
How many scanners/rooms does this dept have? Two MRI scanners. One fixed room, one mobile. Both scanners are Client models.
EMR &/or PACS (Picture Archive & Communication System: software & hardware): Cerner, Merge PACS
