Registered Nurse (RN) - MS Tele

Location: Ottumwa, IA

Assignment Duration: This is a 13-week contract position.

Schedule: Shift: 07:00 - 19:00, with options for 36 or 48 guaranteed hours per week.

Job Description: We are seeking a dedicated Registered Nurse (RN) specializing in Medical-Surgical Telemetry. The ideal candidate will be responsible for providing high-quality nursing care to adult patients, ensuring their comfort and well-being. The nurse will work collaboratively with a multidisciplinary team to deliver individualized patient care in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities:

• Provide patient care in accordance with established protocols and standards.
• Monitor and assess patient conditions, administering medications and treatments as prescribed.
• Collaborate with healthcare team members to plan and evaluate care.
• Educate patients and their families on health management and care plans.
• Maintain documentation and records regarding patient care services.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure:

• Must have a valid Iowa RN license.
• BLS certification required; ACLS certification preferred.
• 1-2 years of nursing experience preferred.
• Mandatory reporter certification for child and adult required.
• Background checks must be fully cleared prior to starting.
