Urgently Hiring: Temp-to-perm Forklift Operator

Location: Phoenix, AZ 85043 (51st Avenue & Lower Buckeye)

Pay Rate: $20 per hour

Shift: Monday to Friday, 7:00 a.m. – 4:00 p.m. (Overtime as needed)

Position Type: Temp-to-perm, potential for permanent hire

Responsibilities:

• Operate 5-ton forklifts to move large loads safely and efficiently
• Assist with receiving and measuring crates using our Warehouse Management System (WMS)
• Spot larger forklift drivers to ensure safe movement of oversized loads
• Perform basic computer tasks (data entry, printing, copying)
• Participate in a forklift driving test as part of the hiring process

Requirements:

• 3-5 years of experience working around heavy equipment
• Minimum of 5 years operating large forklifts (5-ton experience preferred)
• Experience spotting for large forklift operators (must be familiar with challenges of visibility and safety)
• Experience driving extra-large forklifts is a plus (opportunity to advance if hired permanently)
• Ability to pass a practical forklift driving test
• Basic computer skills
