Responsibilities
- Provide companionship and emotional support
- Engage clients in conversation and meaningful activities
- Prepare light meals and snacks
- Perform light housekeeping and laundry
- Assist with grocery shopping and errands
- Escort clients to appointments and community outings (when applicable)
- Provide medication reminders (no medication administration)
- Encourage physical activity as appropriate
- Observe and report changes in client condition
- Complete required visit documentation
- Maintain client confidentiality and professionalism
Qualifications
- Must be at least 18 years old
- High school diploma or GED preferred
- Previous caregiving, CNA, home care, or companion experience preferred but not required
- Excellent communication skills
- Dependable and punctual
- Compassionate, patient, and respectful
- Reliable transportation
- Valid driver's license
- Ability to pass a background check
- CPR/First Aid certification is a plus
Schedule
- Part-Time
- Minimum 4-hour shifts
- Day, evening, and weekend opportunities
- Flexible scheduling based on client needs
Pay
$20.00–$22.00 per hour
Weekend differential available.
