Desired Experience and Qualifications:
- Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology
- Current ASHA Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) or Clinical Fellowship (CF) status
- Active state licensure in Speech-Language Pathology
- Prior experience or strong passion for working with pediatric and school-aged populations
- Ability to collaborate with multidisciplinary teams and communicate effectively with students, staff, and families
- Adaptability and motivation to thrive in a school-based setting
Key Responsibilities:
- Assess, diagnose, and treat speech, language, communication, and swallowing disorders for students in an educational setting
- Develop and implement individualized therapy plans tailored to each student's needs
- Conduct screenings and evaluations utilizing standardized assessments
- Document progress and maintain compliance with relevant regulations
- Participate in IEP meetings, provide recommendations, and collaborate with teachers and other specialists
- Offer guidance and training to staff and families to support student success
