Location: West Virginia

Assignment Duration: This is a 13-week contract position.

Schedule: Day 4x10-hour shifts from 07:30 AM to 06:00 PM, with potential for 5x8-hour shifts from 07:30 AM to 04:00 PM as needed. On-call duty required once during the week and once on the weekend every 4-6 weeks, including holidays.

Job Description: The Cath Lab Technologist will utilize specialized high-technology equipment and, at the discretion of a qualified physician, perform endovascular procedures for the diagnosis and treatment of cardiac and peripheral vascular disease. Key responsibilities include monitoring patients' hemodynamic status, documenting procedures, and assisting the physician during endovascular interventions while maintaining sterile field practices.

Responsibilities:

• Conduct Cardiac Cath Lab procedures such as stent placements, diagnostic catheterizations, and various interventional cardiac procedures.
• Monitor and document hemodynamic status effectively during procedures.
• Assist in the setup of equipment and preparation of access sites.
• Recognize life-threatening arrhythmias and respond appropriately.
• Maintain and operate equipment, ensuring adherence to safety and isolation precautions.
• Participate in continuous education and competency assessments as required.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure:

• Graduated from an approved School of Radiologic Technology.
• 1.5 to 2 years of experience in Diagnostic Cardiovascular and Interventional Cath Labs.
• Must hold a valid ARRT certification and a West Virginia Medical Imaging License.
• ACLS and BLS certifications required; ARRT CI preferred.
