TIMES: MONDAY - FRIDAY 8 hour shifts day time About Us: Homewatch CareGivers of Southwest Austin is a locally owned and operated non-medical home care agency dedicated to helping older adults and individuals with disabilities remain safe, comfortable, and independent in the place they call home. We provide personalized assistance with activities of daily living, including personal care, companionship, meal preparation, medication reminders, transportation, light housekeeping, and specialized support for individuals living with dementia, Parkinson's disease, and other chronic conditions. Role Overview: As a Caregiver at Homewatch CareGivers of Southwest Austin, you will be responsible for providing high-quality, non-medical in-home care to seniors and adults. In this role, you’ll collaborate closely with our dedicated office team to ensure that clients receive compassionate and reliable care that meets their individual needs. Whether you work full-time or part-time, you will have the flexibility to choose a schedule that works for you. Key Responsibilities: Provide medication reminders to clients. Assist with activities of daily living (ADLs), including bathing, grooming, and dressing. Support clients with mobility and help them with their daily routines. Provide companionship and emotional support. Deliver Alzheimer’s and Dementia care support as needed. Collaborate with our office team to ensure the highest quality of care is provided to all clients. Qualifications: You're a great fit if you have the following skills. Experience in providing care to seniors or adults. Compassionate and reliable with a strong ethical commitment. Excellent communication skills, including proficiency in English. Willingness to learn and adapt to individual client needs. Ability to work flexible schedules, including weekends. Bonus If You: Have certifications in first aid or CPR. Possess additional training or experience in caring for clients with dementia. Have experience using home care software or systems. Employment Type & Availability: This position offers both Full-Time and Part-Time opportunities, with availability needed across all days of the week.
