Express is Hiring - Senior Welder (Lubbock, TX)

Pay: $20.00-$30.00 per hour
Job Type: Full-Time
Schedule: Monday-Friday, 6:30 AM - 5:00 PM

Job Overview
We are seeking a skilled and experienced Senior Welder to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will possess advanced welding skills and a strong understanding of various welding techniques such as Flux Core Arc Welding and oilfield service equipment . As a Senior Welder, you will be responsible for the fabrication, repair, and inspection of pulling units and related oilfield service equipment . This role demands precision, reliability, and experience in heavy structural welding within the oil & gas sector.

Key Responsibilities:

Execute high-quality FCAW welds on pulling units, structural frames, and oilfield service machinery
Interpret blueprints, welding symbols, and technical schematics
Inspect, repair, and reinforce oilfield equipment to meet safety and performance standards
Utilize fabrication tools including cutting torches and grinders
Maintain a clean and safe work area, adhering to all safety protocols and PPE requirements

Requirements:

Minimum 5 years of welding experience , ideally in oilfield equipment or heavy industrial fabrication
Proficient in FCAW , with demonstrated ability in vertical and overhead welds
Able to pass weld tests and visual inspections
Knowledge of pulling units, winches , and structural repair techniques
Physically capable of lifting 50+ lbs and working in a demanding environment
Must pass drug screening and background check

Preferred Qualifications:

AWS Certification (American Welding Society)
Prior experience with oilfield service equipment or pulling units
Bilingual in English and Spanish a plus
