Senior Mechanical Engineer / Project Manager (PE) – MEP Consulting Join a respected consulting engineering firm where you'll lead the design of complex building systems, manage multidisciplinary projects, and mentor the next generation of engineers. This is an excellent opportunity for a licensed Mechanical Engineer who enjoys technical leadership, client interaction, and developing high-performing teams. What You’ll Do Lead HVAC and mechanical system design for commercial, healthcare, education, municipal, industrial, and mixed-use projects. Manage projects from proposal through construction, ensuring scope, schedule, budget, and quality objectives are achieved. Coordinate with electrical, plumbing, structural, and architectural teams to deliver integrated design solutions. Serve as the primary client contact and lead project meetings. Review drawings, RFIs, submittals, and provide construction administration support. Mentor and develop junior engineers and designers through technical guidance and quality reviews. Qualifications Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering. Professional Engineer (PE) license required. 10+ years of mechanical engineering design experience within an MEP consulting environment. Proven project management experience overseeing multiple building projects. Advanced proficiency with Revit and AutoCAD . Strong knowledge of HVAC, plumbing, and mechanical building systems.
