Join Our Housekeeping Team!

Candlewood Suites St. Charles is looking for a dependable, hardworking, and detail-oriented Housekeeper to join our team.

As an extended-stay hotel, our housekeeping routine is different from a traditional hotel. Housekeepers typically clean 6–9 guest rooms per day, with additional rooms assigned as needed based on hotel occupancy and business levels.

Must be willing to start immediately.

$17 hourly

• Clean approximately 6–9 guest rooms per shift, with additional rooms as needed depending on occupancy

• Clean and sanitize guest room kitchen areas

• Make beds and replace linens and towels as needed

• Thoroughly clean and sanitize bathrooms

• Dust furniture and wipe down guest room surfaces

• Vacuum and mop floors

• Empty trash and remove used linens

• Restock toiletries, towels, and guest supplies

• Keep housekeeping carts and work areas clean and organized

• Report maintenance concerns, damages, and lost-and-found items

• Follow hotel cleaning, sanitation, and safety standards

• Assist with common areas and additional cleaning duties as needed

• Dependable and punctual

• Strong attention to detail

• Positive attitude and strong work ethic

• Ability to work independently and stay on task

• Willingness to work as part of a team

• Ability to stand, walk, bend, reach, push, and perform physical cleaning duties throughout the shift

• Weekend and holiday availability as scheduled

• Previous hotel housekeeping experience is preferred, but we are willing to train the right candidate
